Isherwoods
Tami and David are hoping to bring the girls home today from her Dad's house in Lakeland, that is tentative based on whether or not the house is ready. She really wants to get them home as soon as possible but really wants her house to feel like a home when the girls come in. They are in pretty good shape and have most of the necessities to function. They slept in real bed last night. The couple of things still needed are clothes for the girls size 4t-5t and size 9 shoes (gently used or new). She had thought she was going to be able to salvage some of the clothes but the fire department recommended not to reuse any of it due to the toxins that they were exposed to. She is still looking for a dresser for the girls room. White and girly. Little kids hangars. Gift cards are great so she can fill in the holes, target, walmart etc. You can drop off specific things for the Isherwoods at the preschool or the church. Tami, David and Cindy (Tami's mother are sooooo grateful for all of the efforts and are overwhelmed by the gracious givings of everyone)
Bay Meadows
There is going to be a general fundraiser tomorrow, Saturday in the parking lot in front of Antonio's from 10-3:00 if you want to make a donation to the victims affected. For more information you can contact Bay Meadows at 573-4601. Elaine Curda is the contact for donations ecurda@udr.com. She has recommended emailing pictures of things to her so she can see if the items fit the needs.
Meal Schedule
We do have a meal schedule that is being delivered to Tami's family thru the end of next week. We have a couple of days left if you want to help in this way. March 5th,6th,7th and 8th. People have been asking what they have had and what they want. They have no food allergies and eat everything. You are feeding 3 adults and two children. If you would like more details, please call the church office or contact Debbie Wilson.
Pastor Tom says THANKS!

Church, you are doing an amazing job of stepping up to show love for our displaced Bay Meadows neighbors. A HUGE thanks for bringing in a variety of clothing, household items and kitchen ware! We have a growing pile in the church lobby…which will be delivered to Bay Meadows shortly. You may continue to bring things through Sunday evening.
It is really exciting to see the response from FSCC. Please be aware that we have offered evening meals to those displaced by the fire, but this proved to be unnecessary since most are staying with family, friends, or at a distance that would make this inconvenient.
Again, thanks for all you are doing in Jesus’ Name!
Pastor Tom

From now until Sunday our church will also be a drop off point for clothing, shoes, kitchen items, etc. Please drop off your items between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Also, we may be serving meals to the affected families. We will post more details about that as we receive more info. Please keep checking back.

Most of the people are in a hotel for the next couple of days but there are two of the families who were moved to open units in the complex. One of those is a friend of mine from church. Her name is Tami Ishbrwood. She, her husband, her twin 4 year old girls, mentioned earlier, and mother lived in one of these apartments. I spoke with her this morning and they pretty much lost everything. Their immediate needs are mattresses, any furniture, kitchen items, cleaning items, clothing. If you want to specifically contribute to her family you can drop things off at my house and I will deliver it to her. If you have large items, I can put you in touch with her to figure out the specifics of getting things to her. She did mention she is in the middle of her doctorate and if anyone has an old laptop computer that is something she would appreciate.
I would also love to put together a meal schedule, if anyone is interested, for the Ishbrwood family to just shower some love on them. Let me know if that is something you want to do and I will organize it.
Thanks again for helping as you always do.

Pray for the 2o folks lives who were affected by the fire at the Bay Meadows apartment complex early Sunday morning. Food and clothing items are being collected at the Bay Meadows Racquetball Court. If you have any items to donate, please take them there.
Specific items that are needed will be listed as we receive more information.
Thank you for your part in helping our community.
